KAMR SNFF Photo

On the Atlas N-Scale board, people from all over the world post model railroad photos every Sunday night. They call it Sunday Night Foto Fun (SNFF). It was suggested at tonight's meeting that when we post there, we can also post here on the KAMR site... Sooooo..... here's tonight's photo.

This is a scene Jim Schall and I came up with for the digital category in Model Railroader's 2004 photo contest.

That's Jim posing as the hapless photographer, and the boxcar on the right is an S-scale beauty he scratchbuilt to force the perspective a little. The background is my N-scale layout, with Photoshopped smoke & steam.

We didn't place in the contest, so I'm assuming it's safe to post the photo after all this time!

Hope y'all like it, and I'll try to remember to cross-post next week....

Smile Re: KAMR SNFF Photo

You can really have some fun photo chopping these digital days. One thing that's starting to date the photo is Jim's trouble with the camera! Just how do you deal with trying to get all that old film out to make room for the 256Mb flash memory card?

I also note that Jim cleans up pretty good!
