SARM Engine Photos

The Southern Appalachia Railroad Museum has been steadily expanding their collection of engines. A while back Charlie Womac posted a shot of an FP-7. I found another interesting pair of engines at the K-25 Plant on my way into the CMOR open house/KAMR gathering yesterday.

First and Second Photos: This one is for our own Bob Strickland and his interest in military railroading and such. I'm not a train spotting guru and would love to have one of you experts chime in and identify this U. S. Army engine.

Third and Fourth Photos: I also am not familiar with the Carolina Piedmont RR and it's (phantom) branch line into Knoxville. So who of you can identify what ole "KNOX 1" is? One hell of a paint scheme. I do like the logo "Swamp Rabbit Route".
