Re: turn of the century layout
I will just say that our club has many excellent modelers that include weathering. Also take a look at this web site: http://www.trainweb.org/hi_railers/wthcarp2.html
And I again offer the invitation to visit as I noted in your other posting on layout help.

Re: turn of the century layout
thanx again the reason i put up " i can help any1 with ideas for diffrent layouts so just post ideas or what u want and i'll try to help!" is because after i put up the first post in general topic i went and found an old book with a bunch of layout stuff in it.so i offerd to help people with there layouts from what i know.

Re: turn of the century layout
i have two steam engines, and a very very long train. i tried pulling the train with one engine but it won't pull it. i tried with two but one engine wants to go forwerd and one wants to go backwerds. is there a way to fix this so they both go forwerds? because i am getting very frustrated HaHa

Re: turn of the century layout
Hi Big,
Can you post the manufacturers names? All HO locos recently manufactured (AFIK) running on DC move forward with + voltage on the right rail. I have an old Revell tank engine which was reversed from this, and had to swap wires on the motor to be able to consist it. Kind of a ticky job, but worked out OK. If you can get the shell off you can see how much trouble it is to reverse the motor. Last edited by Cid : 01-19-2007 at 11:30 PM. |
