The general construction of our clubs new two module show layout is nearing completion. All wood framing with backdrop board installation has been completed. The 4-inch foam base is being installed.

All projected track supplies have been ordered and should be in at anytime.

Two DCC universal plugin panels have been acquired.

Hopefully through this coming weekend, the foam installation will be complete and the end boards with hand grips/wheels will be fabricated and installed. These end boards are to enclose the module ends when clam shelled together.

Once the foam is in place the next phase of track layout/installation will begin.

I'm passed due providing an update to the portable train layout construction. The holiday season put me on vacation from train stuff but now things are on a roll again.

We now have a boxed set of modules that are only lacking the end shipping panels (and the layout...). The pictures show the travel and setup modes. Note that I alone unboxed and setup the modules. Now moving and loading into vehicles without help would be a bit more of a challange...
