The Mid-South Live Steamers Fall is Sept. 27-29. This is located in Maury County park, in Columbia, TN. www.midsouthlivesteamers.org is their website.
We will be there from Thursday afternoon till Saturday evening.
This a large scale live steam meet. There are generally around 70 or so locomotives of all type. The track is 7.5 inch gauge, of which there is about 14,000 ft of. Rides are free, so come on and have a good time.

The wife and I will be heading over to Columbia Saturday to enjoy the projected PERFECT weather and of course the trains. We always enjoy this day trip from Kingston. THere's allways some great looking and running engines of all types, electric, propane, fuel oil, and coal fired.

Then off to REI (for me) and Macy's (for her) for some shopping as this will be our 11th anniversary. This is always a fun trip and I always recommend it.
