Mid-South Live Steamers Spring Meet

The Mid-South Live Steamers Spring meet is April 29 through May 12 Columbia, TN.
For those who haven't been there before this is a 7.5 inch gauge track that's about 14,000ft long. There are generally 30-40 live steam locomotive, diesels, and other oddities running the rails! This makes for a fun day trip from the Knoxville area and attending is FREE.

For more information and directions check out their club website: www.midsouthlivesteamers.org

PS: There are also some good eateries in this town...

Yes I would certainly suggest that anyone who hasn't gone should at least go once. I plan to be there most likely from Friday - Saturday with the beam engine.... Ps-4 still not finished.

Re: Mid-South Live Steamers Spring Meet

Just a bump-up reminder that the steamers are running this weekend in Columbia, TN!It only takes gas (a bit less that a tank full) and eating money (how hungry are you?) to have a fun day trip from the Knoxville area (350 mile round trip).

Do it, you'll enjoy it...
