NOTE: I have not found any evidence that the GATS will actually be in Knoxville as their web site shows for the same date as mentioned above. There are still no details of this event and I am suspecting there wont be. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Therefore Atlanta looks like our best train show bet. Also note that there are no details for the March scheduled Nashville GATS either.

I checked the GATS website, and it said that the GATS in Knoxville will be in the Knoxville Convention Center on Henley street. Checking their calendar here-

shows they're definitely scheduled and on the calendar.

I think they were at the Clinton Highway Expo last time, weren't they?

Anyhoo, we can keep an eye on this link to see if they get cold feet or not next month.

This would be welcome news but for the life of me I don't understand why the following link: http://www.gats.com/ only lists a show at Knoxville but only states that "Information on this show forthcoming". What's your secret link to the information so I can update my earlier announcements and my link?


Thanks for the convention center link. I Yellow paged, Googled, Froogled, and thumbed on this name and other variations and just kept getting the Expo Center link. Which I was routinely able to verify that the boat show is there that weekend.
