Exclamation CMOR International Festival and Running Trains

The Childrens Museum of Oak Ridge will be having their annual "International Festival" This Saturday as noted in the following announcement. KAMRI will will be supporting this event with our club doors open and trains running. Hopefully weather will permit running the garden railroad as well. Note that fellow member Mark Furman will not be in attendence due to his commitment to the Home and Garden Show in Knoxville so us fellow members will need to pick up the slack. We should have our club doors open by 8:30 to get things shipshape and running. This is always a well attended event. So bring your all day standing shoes, throat spray for too much talking, and pocket money to buy some good food, deserts, and maybe some crafts representing other countries.

February 23 (10am - 4pm) will be open to the public and will feature Coyote Run and Sparky and Rhonda Rucker, Ten Penny Sword Dancers, Classical Indian Dance, Dor L’ Dor, Debka & the Oasis Dancers, Israeli Dancers, Bob Grimac Ribbon Dance. Saturday will also include international food to purchase and international cultural booths. WDVX will be onsite throughout the day on Saturday.
