1/8 gondola picture
Bruce you have asked me to post a picture of my gondola that I am building. I have almost finished it. I only need to attach the trucks, couplers, and paint it.
The first picture is of my gondola as it is now. Hope to see everyone at the Mid-South live steamers spring meet, May 4-6. Website - www.midsouthlivesteamers.org Have fun, Andrew |

Re: 1/8 gondola picture
Looks good!
Will you be outfitting this car with two legged cargo capability?

Re: 1/8 gondola picture
Bruce-
I plan to put 2 "boat" seats in it. They have backs and will be mounted above car sides a few inches. So they should be more comfortable than my other car. Also I just puchased a caboose. It is red, unlettered, and has a end cupola. Thanks, Andrew |

Re: 1/8 gondola picture
Have you decided on a RR scheme/name yet so you can decorate the caboose? And, will your new gon be equipped with cup holders?

Re: 1/8 gondola picture
Bruce- Sorry to say that the gondola won't be equipped with cup holders.
Both the caboose and gondola will be lettered for the SOUTHERN. The gondola will be painted in a dark box car red, then the letters and numbers will be white. The caboose is already painted red, and will have white letters and numbers on it. Thanks, Andrew |

Re: 1/8 gondola picture
The spring festival in Columbia is fast approaching. Will your new rolling stock be ready for the show?
Hope to see you there!
