N-Scale Gathering: January 20

This Sunday's KAMRI gathering is also the monthly Museum open house. So be sure to bring some running equipment.

On a side note I would like to request that you bring a listing of your current DCC equipped engines and their addresses. I would like to have some idea of what we can bring to the table (so to speak) for a future DCC session. I am also considering an idea to have a programming track setup, etc, in preparation for DCC ops.

The following are some of the activities in progress or on tap to start:

Ongoing Activities:
Mountain carving for the logging camp
Military base detailing
Lumber mill construction
Track Repairs and Installations:
Install refer icing house siding (switches being ordered)
Install logging camp siding (swithces being ordered)

Maintenance and Detailing:
Glue ballast down on industrial module
Add grade crossing details on industrial module
Build paved road to LPG facility on industrial module

I would enjoy seeing all fellow n-scalers to try your hand at any of these items. Or for that matter, if there is something you have in mind please share your idea and we will most cetainly support and encourage your participation. However, these activities should not be seen as a replacement for running trains!

See you Sunday!
