Industrial Track Plan

If you want to see a mega industrial yard plan, come to the meeting on Sunday February 19. I will have a 24 x 32 copy of the Ford Motor Company, Rouge Plant railroad track plan. This has more switching operations than you ever could imagine.
A friend of mine, Ralph Williams, worked as a switcher engineer for many years, and loaned the track plan for me to copy.

Re: Industrial Track Plan

Very interesting!

I wonder just how big a Z-Scale copy would be? Not to mention the price of all of those itty-bitty switches.
