Just wanted to let you know Bob had his surgery yesterday from 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. and came through fine. They had to repair the mitral valve and put a ring on the valve and do a 5 way bypass instead of 3 way bypass that we had expected. I saw Bob for 5 minutes right after surgery. Sorry I didn't send out e-mails last night but I was too exhausted and slept 11 hours.

I made it to the 9:15 - 10 a.m. visitation time. Bob was in great spirits and we were both so glad to see each other. At the 1 - 2 p.m. visitation time the pain killer had worn off and he was very uncomfortable and hungry. Jello tasted great to him.

We appreciate everyone's thoughts and prayers so very much.
