Re: new menber

hi bruce.
i guess it's my turn.

my name is kevin ( as a group : "hi kevin" )

i am suffering from a reaccuring train interest.
it all started when i was young growing up next to
three main line tracks in the city.
my little ho layout wasn't much, but it was fun.

my current hobbie - anything classic volkswagen -
has once again peaked my interset in trains.

stuff like this has put some new ideas in my head.

so combining the two hobbies seems to be inevitable.

nope.... i don't think i can be cured.

Re: new menber

I like the vee-dub transportation system.

So we're somewhere in Germany in the early to midish 60's(???) with othe left hand train negotiating a double slip switch on it's way to some port bound for the US???

Fun photos! Thanks for posting...

Re: new menber

I'm curious to know if they did any electrical upgrades to be able to power those big ole extra headlights?
