MidSouth live steamers spring photos
 

Here are some photos from the Mid-South Live Steamers spring Meet.
We had a great time it rained a little bit Friday morning and then rained all night Friday starting at about 8pm or so, but beyond that we had a great time with beautiful weather. There Weren't quite as many trains this time, I imagine gas prices and possibility of rain scared some people away. However we did have a large group from Florida, Indiana, and Missouri.
The heisler you see is 2.5 inch scale narrow gauge. They brought it down from the Indiana live steamers. It weighs 2700lbs wet, and they said at their home track they have pulled 45-50 adults on 20 cars and still is not loaded down.
Glad Bruce was able to come, only saw him briefly then he dissapeared. Our next live steam run will be at the Canton, St. Paul and Pacific the weekend of May 17th.
